Our Practices

Sustainable Ranching

At Cross Diamond, we show respect for the animals placed under our care through BQA Certified practices and excellent stockmanship in every encounter. Our grazing management is designed to improve both soil quality and animal health, with the goal that any pasture or farm ground we manage is left as good as, or better than, when we received it.

We achieve this through a management-intensive rest and rotation grazing system. Our Red Angus herd is built from cows with quiet dispositions, strong structure, high fertility, and great maternal ability, raising cattle that perform well on grazed forage and produce high-quality, safe beef that is grain-finished for quality and efficiency. Above all, we are lifelong learners with a daily commitment to improving what we do.
